• assist parents and caregivers to teach children new skills
• complete your child assessments
• support you in your role as a parent of a child with special needs
• provide home and/or community visits
• connect you with community resources
• support your child's participation in a community early learning and care program
• consult with and support early learning and care providers
• offer workshops and support groups for parents and caregivers of children with special needs
• educate the community about inclusion and the importance of early intervention
• work closely with the school board staff to facilitate a smooth transition to elementary school
Outreach services include 1,2,3, Look at Me Developmental Screenings Clinics, a variety of different parenting workshops, and consultations provided in the local community.
