DescriptionThe Haldimand Norfolk Preschool Speech and Language Program team consists of Speech-Language Pathologists and support personnel 
This dedicated staff sees children with language delay/disorder (e.g. kids who are "not talking"), articulation delay/disorder (e.g. kids who are "talking" but difficult to understand), fluency problems (e.g. stuttering) and voice problems (e.g. too hoarse, too nasal). Referrals are accepted from doctors, teachers, child-care providers and self-referral 
The program offers assessment and a range of intervention services, including home programs, parent training, individual weekly sessions and group sessions Children of preschool age are eligible for the services at no cost to parents, up until they are eligible for senior kindergarten
