DescriptionThe Paediatric Eating Disorder Team is a comprehensive interdisciplinary team consisting of Paediatricians, Social Workers, Psychologists, Registered Dietitian, Psychiatrist, Child-Life Specialist, Registered Nurses, and a Nurse Practitioner. The program provides outpatient assessments and treatment for eating disorders in children and adolescents up to the age of 17. Services offered include medical management, nutritional education and counseling and individual, family and group therapy. All referrals will be assessed for suitability.  
The program has 6 MOH eating disorder specialty beds for acute medical management.  
Day Hospital provides intensive services for up to 4 patients utilizing a DBT model.  
Central access to the program through Clinical Coordinator.

EligibilityAges: 17 year(s) and under 
Children, Youth, Boys, Girls, Children under the age of 17 with eating disorders. New patients must be under 17 at time of assessment to receive service or Adult Eating Disorder Program is recommended. All patients under 18 who require an inpatient admission will be triaged.
