Description & Services
DescriptionSkill building and support services to enhance parent, caregiver or guardian capacity to understand, support and adaptively respond to the mental health need of their children and youth. 
 
Enabling the family, including siblings, parents and/or guardians to better address a child or youth's mental health issues by changing attitudes and behaviours, providing support as they adjust to new diagnoses, building skills and competencies, and/or creating awareness and resiliency. 
 
Services may include the provision of parenting strategies and access to peer supports.
